As a member of the volunteer program at UMC, you are one of a group of dedicated citizens who make a difference in our community.
Volunteer opportunites are available in a variety of departments including the medical library, surgery waiting room, pediatrics, and the information desk, to name just a few.

Becoming a Volunteer
- You must be at least 14 years of age
- Complete an application form
- Interview with the Volunteer Director
- Submit to a two-step TB skin test
- Attend volunteer orientation
- Agree to a background check
- Volunteers under 18 years of age must have parental consent
